As a subsidiary of Bharat Airtel, Airtel Payments Bank launched its FASTag service in November 2019. Leveraging digital and retail reach with over 155 million users and more than five hundred thousand banking points, the bank provides a rechargeable RFID based FASTag that is available for use with an Airtel Payments Bank wallet or savings account.

This tag allows for hassle free cashless travel as vehicles can pass through toll gates without the need to stop, hence conserving both time and fuel. Users can order via the Airtel Thanks app which helps manage the entire process from ordering to activating FASTag, KYC upload, linking accounts, transaction monitoring and recharging.
