Central Bank of India FASTag

Located in India, one of the oldest and trusted public sector banks, Central Bank of India aims to expand digital mobility infrastructure by making available FASTag services. FASTag, which is a unified payments interface built on the NETC (National Electronic Toll Collection) system and uses RFID technology to allow real-time, contactless toll payments across the country, will help to reduce congestion and facilitate enhanced efficiency on roads. With end-to-end integration and supported through a dedicated FASTag platform, the bank ensures that the onboarding, activating, and managing tags for both private and commercial vehicles is done quickly and to specifications. 

The FASTag ecosystem includes transaction transparency, 24/7 recharge options of the private tag service, SMS alerts of travel history, and account balances easily secured by a user interface. The FASTag offering provided by the Central Bank of India is designed around scalability and compliance with NPCI guidelines. It is structured to support large user bases, logistics operations, and fleet services while providing an efficient toll payment service through banking-grade infrastructure.
